Clinical Data Management - Edit Check Programming Peachtree will write a Data Cleaning Plan (DCP), which will document all internal data cleaning procedures. The DCP will contain contingency checks, out-of-range checks, logical checks, manual checks and data listings. Documents indicating acceptable self-evident corrections and data cleaning conventions will also be created as separate documents. The self evident corrections document describes those corrections that can be performed during cleaning without issuing a query to the site. These documents will be finalized and approved prior to implementation. The data cleaning conventions will follow an internal review while the self-evident corrections document will be sent to the clinical site(s) for approval. Peachtree will program and maintain all the checks and listings as specified in the DCP. The programs will be error-free, validated, documented and amended, as necessary. The cleaning checks will be tested using both clean and dirty subject data to ensure accuracy of programming.
