Peachtree Joins Forces with BioPharm Systems
Atlanta, GA, December 1st, 2008 at 07:00 AM (ET) Atlanta’s Peachtree BioResearch Solutions, a provider of outsourced development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, today announced a collaboration with BioPharm Systems. The San Francisco based BioPharm Systems is a leading Oracle consulting firm serving the information technology and data management needs of the clinical trial industry. BioPharm provides a wide range of consulting services and products to address critical needs in clinical data management, safety reporting, electronic data capture, dictionary management, and clinical trial management. Through the collaborative efforts of BioPharm and Peachtree, pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies can benefit from a seamless integration of clinical IT system implementation and data management operational services. BioPharm’s Clinical Data Management System (CDMS) and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) implementation and validation expertise coupled with Peachtree’s highly experienced and cost effective solutions for data management and process engineering services results in optimal and efficient delivery of validated clinical trial data. Peachtree will offer both full and functional data management services for BioPharm clients. Additionally, BioPharm will be implementing, validating, hosting and supporting Peachtree’s Oracle Clinical® CDMS and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system. BioPharm, a Certified Partner in the Oracle Partner Network, is among a select group of companies globally offering hosted versions of Oracle's clinical development and safety solutions. BioPharm will also provide end-to-end multilingual, 24/7 Call Center Site Support for Peachtree’s EDC studies. These Clinical Support Services ensure that investigators, Clinical Research Coordinators and Associates quickly implement and conduct clinical trials. BioPharm’s help desk familiarity and extensive training on the OC RDC application, client business rules, and escalation paths help Clinician end users to maximize their productivity. BioPharm also will assess the technical infrastructure of clinical sites to determine their needs in order to deploy EDC or other software applications.
